Freikehren heißt, ohne Kehrgutbehälter zu arbeiten und das Kehrgut auf der Fläche zu lassen. Die Plane sitzt vor der Kehrbürste und hält den aufgewirbelten Staub unten, statt ihn über die Fläche zu verteilen.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eZugleich führt die Plane das Kehrgut zusammen. Statt es breit zu verstreuen, legt die Kehrmaschine es in einer Reihe ab, die anschließend in einem Zug aufgenommen wird. Das trägt auf trockenem Sand, Splitt und Straßenschmutz, wo ein Behälter schnell voll wäre. Dieselbe Kehrplane passt an die tk17 mit 70 cm Arbeitsbreite und an tk18, tk20, tk36 und tk38 mit 80 cm Arbeitsbreite, bei tk36 und tk38 auch an die Ausführungen mit EGO 56V Akkumotor.
